Our founder, James, brings years of industry experience to every client he works with, having spent 14 years with two of New Zealand's largest banks across Consumer Banking, Business Banking, and Private Wealth. Having seen the mortgage industry from the inside out, he understands the frustrations that can come with it, and built Blue Water Mortgages to do things differently.

As a locally based mortgage adviser in New Plymouth, James is focused on his clients' success, building long-term relationships through trust and commitment.

Outside of work, you'll find James spending time with his wife and two boys, and if there's any time left, out on the golf course or on the water fishing.
